Parish Outreach Ministry

We are a community of believers and an integral aspect of that belief is to share in the corporal works of mercy that the Church has outlined for us. They are:

• Feed the hungry
• Give drink to the thirsty
• Give alms to the poor
• Shelter the homeless
• Visit the sick
• Visit the imprisoned 
• Bury the dead

All of these acts of mercy are the mission of all of us.  Here at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, our Outreach Ministry whole-heartedly fulfills these acts.

How Do I Receive Assistance?

• No appointment necessary; stop by during our normal hours of operation. (KY RESIDENTS ONLY)

• Food assistance: You are required to bring your up-to-date photo ID and utility bill to confirm your NKY address. You must live in one of the following KY counties: Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton, Carroll, or Owen.

 

• Utility assistance: You are required to bring your up-to-date photo ID and the most recent utility bill showing a past due balance.  You are required to receive food assistance in order to receive utility assistance-no exceptions. (Beginning January 1, 2025: ONLY Campbell County, KY residents will be eligible for utility assistance.)
